Safaricom Introduces MySacco App for Sacco Members
Safaricom has introduced the MySacco app, an innovative digital platform designed to help SACCO members efficiently manage their growing membership base.
The app offers a comprehensive suite of services, providing a fully digital, trackable, and user-friendly interface that simplifies tasks such as opening savings accounts and managing loans.
The My Sacco app has several key features, including the ability to manage multiple SACCO memberships, perform intra-SACCO transfers, and digitize the entire loan process, from application to repayment.
To maximize accessibility, the app is available on Android and iOS platforms, a web portal for enhanced functionality, and USSD support for users without smartphones.
Cynthia Kropac, Safaricom’s Chief Enterprise Business Officer, emphasized the company’s dedication to supporting SACCOs through cutting-edge digital solutions, noting their vital role in fostering economic growth and improving customer satisfaction.
Kropac highlighted that the MySacco app is more than just a digital platform—it is a powerful tool that enhances SACCO operations and delivers premium services to members.
“We have built a secure digital infrastructure that SACCOs need. MySacco App is more than a platform. It is a tool that empowers SACCOs to unlock their full potential and deliver exceptional services to their members,” Kropac explained.
She further emphasized the app’s ability to protect data, facilitate seamless communication, and enhance user satisfaction in today’s fast-paced digital landscape. “In a fast-paced digital world, this infrastructure ensures the protection of data, maintains secure communication channels, and contributes to the overall satisfaction of the customer.” she added.
