Bank of Africa Tanzania, CFAO Mobility Introduces Vehicle Asset Finance for Individuals and Businesses
Bank of Africa Tanzania has partnered with CFAO Mobility Tanzania to launch a Vehicle Asset Finance Solution aimed at making vehicle ownership more accessible to individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses across Tanzania.
The partnership combines Bank of Africa Tanzania’s financing capabilities with CFAO Mobility Tanzania’s automotive distribution network and portfolio of vehicle brands, including Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki and Fuso.
The vehicle asset finance solution is designed to support customers seeking vehicles for business expansion, personal mobility, transportation and logistics. The financing will cover a range of vehicles, from passenger cars to heavy commercial trucks, while allowing customers to use the financed vehicle as the primary collateral for the loan.
Vehicle Asset Finance For Individuals, SMEs and Corporates
The solution is available to three main customer segments: individual buyers, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large corporate businesses.
For individuals, the facility is intended to support personal vehicle ownership. Entrepreneurs and SMEs can use the financing to acquire vehicles for business operations and expansion, while corporates can access financing for fleet acquisitions and other transportation requirements.
The vehicle portfolio covers different categories, including luxury passenger cars and heavy commercial trucks from brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki and Fuso.
Under the asset-backed financing structure, the vehicle typically serves as the primary security for the loan, reducing the need for alternative forms of collateral.
Bank of Africa Tanzania will provide the financing required to purchase the vehicles and assess applicants based on their financial position, creditworthiness and ability to repay the loan. The bank will also determine the financing structure, including repayment terms, interest rates and loan durations.
CFAO Mobility Tanzania will supply the vehicles and manage distribution through its automotive network across Tanzania. The automotive provider will also offer manufacturer warranties, genuine spare parts and routine maintenance packages.
CFAO Mobility Tanzania will advise customers on vehicle selection based on their requirements, including helping businesses identify suitable commercial vehicles for their operations.
