Airtel Money Users To Now Make Direct Payments to DTB
Airtel Money customers and Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) clients in Kenya can now make payments and deposits more conveniently following a new partnership between Airtel Kenya and DTB.
The collaboration integrates Airtel Money with DTB’s banking services, providing smoother, faster, and more inclusive digital transactions.
Through the partnership, Airtel Money users can now pay DTB Till Moja merchants directly. Customers no longer need a separate bank app or USSD code to complete payments.
Whether paying for goods in supermarkets, settling school fees, or paying utility bills at DTB-registered businesses, users simply select “Pay Bill” or “Buy Goods” on Airtel Money and enter the DTB Till Moja number.
Transactions are instant, secure, and incur standard Airtel Money charges, making daily payments faster and more convenient.
In addition, Airtel Money users can deposit funds directly into DTB personal or business accounts, often free of charge.
This feature benefits SMEs and individuals who receive payments via Airtel Money, including employees, freelancers, and small traders.
They can now move money to their DTB accounts instantly without withdrawing cash and queuing at the bank, saving both time and money.
The partnership also benefits DTB customers and businesses using Till Moja. Merchants can now accept payments from Airtel Money’s over 30 million users, significantly expanding their customer base.
Funds received through Airtel Money reflect immediately in DTB accounts, supporting easier reconciliation and improved working capital management for SMEs.
DTB says the collaboration strengthens its commitment to offering diverse payment options that improve convenience, enhance flexibility for SMEs, and support financial inclusion across Kenya.
Airtel Kenya adds that the integration is part of its effort to make digital payments more accessible and to provide customers with seamless banking experiences.
