Ecobank Introduces Premier Banking and Infinite Visa Card for Kenya’s Wealthy

Ecobank Kenya has officially launched Premier Banking by Ecobank alongside the Ecobank Infinite Visa card, introducing a comprehensive banking and lifestyle solution targeted at affluent and high-net-worth individuals in Kenya.

The launch, held in Nairobi, was led by Josephine Anan-Ankomah, Managing Director, Ecobank Kenya & Regional Executive CESA, and Fiona Lein, Head of Premier Banking at Ecobank Kenya.

The event gathered key industry partners including John Njoroge, Visa Country Manager for Kenya, Somalia & South Sudan; Joe Muturi, CFO, AMREF Flying Doctors; and David Seagon, Group CEO & Chairman of JW Seagon.

Representatives from Ecobank’s parent entities, including Ecobank Transnational Incorporated and Ecobank Development Corporation (EDC), were also present, including Emmanuel Owusu, CIO at EDC, along with Gloria Akoto and Prince Atsianu.

Premier Banking by Ecobank is structured as a holistic offering that goes beyond standard banking. It provides personalised relationship management, tailored mortgage solutions for the diaspora and African expatriates seeking to invest in Kenya, and exclusive lifestyle privileges such as priority services, wealth advisory, and investment support.

The service is supported by the Ecobank Infinite Visa card, which provides global access, concierge services, premium travel insurance, and reward programs specifically curated for Kenya’s wealthy clientele.

“This offering is built for high-achieving individuals, wealth creators, trailblazers, and visionaries, who deserve more than convenience; they deserve recognition, tailored advice, and access to financial tools that help them scale, invest, and build legacies that last.” said Anan-Ankomah during the event.

Other banks in Kenya and Africa have also introduced wealth-focused services in recent years.
