Stanbic Bank Deal with Inchcape Kenya

Stanbic Bank to Finance BMW, Land Rover and New Holland Assets under New Deal with Inchcape Kenya

Inchcape Kenya has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Stanbic Bank Kenya aimed at improving access to asset financing for vehicles, commercial mobility solutions and agricultural equipment.

Under the agreement, customers can obtain up to 100% financing for qualifying assets, with repayment periods of up to 96 months and zero processing fees on eligible facilities, subject to credit evaluation.

Inchcape Kenya Managing Director Marion Gathoga-Mwangi said the partnership goes beyond simply selling vehicles and equipment.

“Our responsibility extends beyond providing quality vehicles and equipment. It is also about creating a better customer experience and helping customers navigate the process of acquiring the assets they need,” she said during the signing ceremony.

“Our collaboration with Stanbic Bank Kenya reflects our commitment to working with trusted partners to offer practical solutions that respond to real customer needs.”

The deal covers a broad portfolio of assets available through Inchcape Kenya. These include premium passenger vehicles from BMW, Jaguar and Land Rover; commercial and entry-level passenger vehicles from Changan Auto; and agricultural machinery, including tractors, from New Holland.

Financing terms vary by asset type. Personal and premium passenger vehicles can be financed for up to 96 months (eight years), while business and commercial mobility assets are eligible for terms of up to 72 months (six years). The structure is designed to reduce the need for large upfront deposits, allowing buyers to preserve working capital.

Inchcape Kenya said the partnership targets individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, large corporates and agribusiness operators. By providing bank-backed financing options, the companies aim to help customers acquire reliable assets while freeing up cash for business expansion and operations.

The companies described the arrangement as a response to affordability challenges in the current economic environment, offering customers competitive financing that supports both personal mobility and commercial growth.
