The award celebrates the company’s tireless efforts in achieving gender parity at the leadership level and creating a workplace that balances the needs of both women and men.

Jubilee Health Insurance has consistently demonstrated its dedication to gender equality by ensuring 50% representation of women in senior leadership roles and on its board.

Beyond policy, the company offers a gender-friendly environment with initiatives that support working mothers, children, and families, enabling employees to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Jubilee Health Insurance, under the leadership of CEO Njeri Jomo, has pioneered initiatives that foster gender inclusivity. These include mentorship programs for emerging female leaders, the Man’s Council Committee to address men’s issues, and the Mums Club, which empowers women at various stages of motherhood.

The Mums Club offers key programs and support to help women navigate both their personal and professional lives.

Jubilee Health Insurance’s commitment to gender equity extends into the community through collaborations like the Standard Chartered GOAL initiative, which empowers young women in underserved communities.

Additionally, their Afya Mashinani initiative offers free healthcare, including breast cancer screenings, to women and children in need. Jubilee is also a trailblazer in supporting women’s health by including menopause coverage in its staff benefits package.
